Parshas Bereishit teaches us to respect human life because we are made in God's image. Every abortion destroys God's essence in an unborn child, leading to suffering and death.

Choose life commands us to optimize the growth and development of unborn human beings to ensure our future and to respect all human life as made in the image of God.
