Abortion As a Gateway Drug to Societal Cruelty
Spiritually speaking, it is no coincidence that World War One began in 1914, the very year Margaret Sanger embarked on her lifelong quest of cruelty towards babies.
The Blessed Creator knows what He is doing. He created biological traits in women to keep kindness on the table in society. But abortion changes the equation. Women can be just as free as a man to pursue a career before a family, and as morally lacking as necessary to be as cruel as the cruelest man. Indeed, women are made from sugar & spice & all things nice, unless they are pro-abortion disciples of Margaret Sanger, and you have the distinct misfortune of residing in their wombs.
In the premodern world, all evidence pointed to women being more nurturing and empathetic than men, in general. Nowadays, in the postmodern world, with gender dysphoria so promoted in Western culture, these lines are a bit obscured, and so many people are no longer certain anymore what is a man and what is a woman, what is inappropriate and what isn't, and what is bloodshed and what isn't.
But we can look to the wisdom of the past and use it as a foundation for our choices today, as even though there were not computers in the past, there were people. We all know it: Boys tend to be more physically aggressive than girls. While girls are more apt to engage in social warfare than boys. But in the concept of world peace, men have historically caused war, not women. This is why the messiah has to be a man, because a man has to be the one to make up for the mistakes of men by helping to bring world peace. So when you take the best safeguard against aggression (the human female) out of the equation, you increase war in the world.
That is the problem the world has faced the past 110+ years since the start of the abortion movement. Spiritually speaking, it is no coincidence that World War One began in 1914, the very year Margaret Sanger embarked on her lifelong quest of cruelty towards babies. Sanger was arguably at her most extreme and radical in 1914, openly defying the law and aligning herself with revolutionary and anarchist movements. She even advocated violence against adults who stood in her way.
In the 1920s she moderated her message to make it more politically palatable. The end result is still the bloodshed of the innocent. Let's take a step back and look at ancient wisdom for guidance. Kabbalistically speaking, the foundation of men is not violence, but kindness. The foundation of women is not social exclusion, but selectivity. When perverted, kindness wants it now, even if not wise, moral, or healthy.
If a man propositions a woman inappropriately, she generally has the greater capacity than he to suggest a better time, place and method. Other than giving birth, this is a woman's greatest superpower. As a consequence, a linchpin of philosophic weakness in Margaret Sanger's movement, is to circumvent this power, and thus weaken it from lack of use. You can be just as morally irresponsible as any man, it promotes. Nowadays you can find many women who are just as weak towards resisting intimacy as any man. This is often a learned thing, a consequential societal dissonance, caused by a misuse of the concept of absolute equality to the point of ignoring basic subtle and vital differences in the genders.
From a Torah perspective, men are upholders of society, while WOMEN ARE SOCIETY. We need to recapture the natural sensibility of women in our society, in order to restore the intended spiritual Garden of Eden that God envisioned for all of us to reside in.
This moral sensibility of women, is the foundation of Torah true Judaism, as the Talmud teaches, "In the merit of the righteous women who were in that generation (of the exodus), Israel were redeemed from Egypt." (Talmud Sotah 11b). They made the extra effort necessary to uphold being fruitful and multiplying, and thus the continuation of the nation, even in the midst of servitude. The Hebrew women in slavery still kept faith that they would be redeemed. The Midrash Mechilta (cited in the commentary of Rashi on Exodus 15:20) explains that the women, while still in Egypt, were so confident that they would be redeemed, that they prepared tambourines to use during the great rejoicing that would occur on the day of their redemption. Women will also be a pivotal part of the great redemption with the messiah (Midrash Yalkut Shimoni).
Also note in the midrashic discussion of Psalms 98:3, "He remembered His kindness and His faith to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God." The phrase 'House of Israel', refers to the women of Israel. Meaning: His kindness and His faith (i.e. that are imbued in) the house of Israel. This is why women will be the reason for the redemption, because their capacity to recognize the subtle steps in the loss of morality, is how you reverse its perversion. Just as the doctor must first find the wound's location, before (s)he can treat it, and save the patient. This is all connected to the great spiritual purity naturally imbued in women from birth.
The traditional Jewish morning blessing recited by women is now readily understood, "Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who made me according to His will." i.e. Women are naturally, precisely, according to God's will. At the heart of this ethical conundrum that the pro-life advocate faces is, even if someone would want to say, "I will merely separate from the immoral people of the world to serve God better, and that is that."
The problem is, the end result of their movement is the bloodshed of the innocent. Sweet innocent babies being given torturous death in the holy of holies of all safe places, their own mother's womb. If you allow the greatest of cruelties to the innocent, what cruelty cannot be allowed? Therefore I claim that abortion is like a "gateway drug" to all cruelties condoned in Western society, and before it targets babies, it first targets the core of the mother's innate moral sensibilities. Because God built the world on the capacity of women, especially, to remain sensible in the face of conflicting subtleties that steer the course of societal progression, be it towards evil or good.
I feel like shouting to high heaven, let there be sanctuary for the innocent!
