Make America Moral Again

Now that Republicans have secured all three branches of government, policy changes that improve the lives of Americans can be enshrined into law, giving us security and prosperity. The future we hand over to our children depends on it.

As John Adams wrote to the Massachusetts Militia on October 11, 1798, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” These words resonate as powerfully today as they did over two centuries ago. The spiritual principle behind Adams’s statement is clear: national prosperity and security are directly tied to our adherence to moral law. That moral law is rooted in the belief that all life is sacred, created by God, and worthy of protection—especially the life of the unborn.

I am deeply concerned by the continued legal sanctioning of abortion in the United States, which undermines our national moral integrity. Abortion has become a widely accepted practice, with millions of innocent babies losing their lives to tortuous murder in the womb. This also imperils the physical and emotional lives of the mothers who receive dangerous chemicals and surgeries, while allowing their babies to be tortured to death.

The Trump Administration’s Moral Mandate

The overturning of Roe v. Wade was a monumental win, but the reality is that the battle to protect life is far from over. In fact, in the wake of that victory, the expansion of abortion access in states across the country has been troubling.

The decision in the Dobbs case gave states the power to regulate abortion, and as a result, many states have implemented policies that allow unrestricted access to abortion. According to reports, there are now seven more states where voters have legalized abortion without any gestational limits, including Alaska, Colorado, and Maryland. In these states, abortion is treated as a fundamental right, even though it is a practice that causes unimaginable harm to unborn children and to the mothers who undergo these procedures.

America's Moral Integrity and the Threat of Secular Humanism

Secular humanism and paganism have permeated our culture, driving people away from the principles upon which America was founded. When society abandons God’s moral laws, it opens the door to an ever-expanding array of injustices, and abortion is at the forefront of these violations. We are told by those who support abortion that it is a compassionate choice, a woman's right. But we must ask: What kind of compassion sacrifices innocent children on the altar of convenience and choice?

Abortion is not a compassionate solution—it is the sacrifice of innocent life. It is the same evil that the Bible warns against, where child sacrifice is condemned as an abomination. This dark practice is alive and well today, under the guise of women’s rights, and it must be stopped if America is to reclaim its moral integrity.

Israel and the Call for Repentance

The situation is similarly troubling in Israel. While the U.S. has battled the scourge of abortion for decades, Israel’s recent expansion of abortion access after the Dobbs decision has led to even more heartbreaking consequences. Today, the Israeli government funds legal abortions, and Jewish women are faced with a devastating choice: kill their unborn child or face very difficult financial and social consequences of unwanted pregnancies.

As the founder of the Jewish Pro-Life Foundation, I believe that Israel must return to its biblical roots, recognizing that life begins at conception and that all life is precious. Just as Deuteronomy 30:15-20 urges us to choose life and good over death and evil, Israel must return to honoring the sanctity of life and stop the government-sanctioned killing of unborn children.

Israel has a Biblical mandate to the land and for maintaining the moral standards established by God. This includes protecting the unborn and ensuring that the sacredness of life is respected and cherished. Abortion, especially in a country with such deep biblical ties, represents a tragic deviation from these divine moral standards.

We applaud President Trump appointing Gov Huckabee as Ambassador to Israel. Gov Huckabee will carry a pro-life message to Israel, a country that suffers greatly from secular humanism. Gov Huckabee, please encourage Knesset members to guarantee Israel’s border integrity and future survival by establishing the moral integrity required by the Almighty. This can be accomplished best by national repentance for the prohibited practice of child sacrifice.

A Call to Action: The Moral Future of America and Israel

For both America and Israel, the fight for life is the fight for moral integrity. Without it, our nations cannot flourish. As we look to the future, we must reject secular humanism, return to the moral principles laid out in scripture, and ensure that the rights of the unborn are protected at all costs. This is the true path to securing national prosperity, stability, and security—not only for our generation but for future ones as well.
