Men Having Babies: What's the Torah Way to Make a Baby?
Instead of men having babies, we think a better way to replace the 20.000 Jewish babies destroyed in abortions every year in Israel is to stop killing them in their natural mother's womb.

Men Having Babies Conference in Israel
The article quotes from a Fairfield, CT LLC called Worldwide Surrogacy Specialists (WSS). Victoria Ferrara, the agency's founder and legal director, plans a trip to Israel in March 2026 to participate in the Men Having Babies 4th International Surrogacy and Infertility Conference in Israel.
As promoted on the Men Having Babies Surrogacy Advisor resource page, Ms. Ferrara, her team and her wife earn money in the growing lucrative service industry of surrogacy for male couples. WSS, LLC listing shows they incorporated in 2024; however, in 2014, Victoria Ferrara spoke at a surrogacy conference in Tel Aviv. The article reports that since the conference, many Israeli couples and individuals have retained the services of Worldwide Surrogacy to assist them in having their children through surrogacy.
The Downside of Surrogacy
As we shared in the October 2025 blog, Embryo Destruction and Selective Abortion in IVF Fertility Treatment, surrogacy is expensive and profitable, but risky and morally challenged. Parents whose children are born of surrogates appreciate and pay for the service. No matter how recommended by grateful parents, surrogacy has a downside. It enables a criminal network of women enslaved into surrogacy to produce children who are then sold and perhaps exploited in numerous ways. Surrogates who gestate IVF created embryos have no legal right to protect the baby from abortion that the embryo’s donor parents may demand anytime throughout the pregnancy. Regarding the LifeNews article title, where are the baby girls going?
Deep Dive into Surrogacy Harms
The LifeNews article goes deep into the harmful aspects of the growing surrogacy industry. ...children are a product of transactions between individuals who bear no relation to and may never meet one another. But these developments are not futuristic science fiction; they represent the global present and they rely on the ability to completely separate sex, pregnancy, and birth from person-to-person human relationships. Love and marriage are in the rearview mirror, and the range of harrowing variations grows almost daily.
Thanks to Victoria Ferrara and WSS LLC's worldwide business model, the 'anything goes' landscape of baby making expands across the globe.
Advocates of surrogacy dismiss the harms women encounter and the life challenges the babies face. Many of the same people who approve of and profit from rising rates of chemical abortion to kill babies also promote profitable surrogacy services that identify the baby only as a product. They see surrogacy as a legitimate way to increase fertility rates - and profits - no matter who pays for it or suffers from it.
Israel Fertility Rate Drops
In first, Israeli population growth said to drop below 1%; life expectancy also down
According to this report, three factors contribute to this drop, including a decline in the fertility rate — the number of births per woman. What the article doesn't mention is how easy access to abortion in Israel lowers birth rates and often harms women so they can't conceive again or carry another baby to term.
Israel has a surrogacy problem, too.
Israel is a nation that validates its right to exist on a biblical mandate based on a clear moral code that prohibits child sacrifice, the modern day version of which is abortion homicide. Surrogacy treatment destroys human beings through gendercide selective abortion and for other unwanted characteristics. That same moral code also bans men liking men. This ban isn't meant to deny civil rights or happiness. Instead, this prohibition exists because the Creator prioritizes baby making, and men liking men does not produce children. Until now, but not in the Torah way.

We've often said that secular policies in Israel pose an existential threat to the Jewish state because national security and survival come from God dependency as presented in Torah. That presentation bans child sacrifice, ie., abortion homicide, as well as alternative lifestyles and futuristic baby making methods. These practices test social norms and may be accepted in many places, but they doom Israel to a prophetic catastrophe.
